Pool deck cleaning is more important than you might think.
You might wonder why we offer pool deck cleaning at Splish Splash Pressure Washing. After all, isn’t the pool deck exposed to water every time the pool is used? Not to mention when it rains?
The fact is that while the pool deck is frequently wet, water alone does not clean the surface. In fact, repeated exposure to water might contribute to part of the buildup that requires professional pool deck cleaning. Splashing, rain, and standing water can all provide ideal circumstances for algae, mildew, and other organic development.
Pool decks also collect contaminants that water does not readily wash away. Sunscreen, body oils, grime, pollen, leaves, food and drink spills, and residue from frequent foot activity can gradually settle into textured or porous surfaces over time. This buildup can cause the deck to look stained or dingy, as well as make the deck slippery.
Regular pool deck cleaning removes these impurities before they become more difficult to treat. Professional cleaning can brighten the surface, eliminate slippery organic buildup, and help protect materials like concrete, pavers, stone, and other decking materials. It also provides you with a cleaner, more pleasant environment for swimming, entertaining, and relaxing.
